Yasser Arafat was Gay - what a hypocrite!

Category Politics
Yasser Arafat was an active homosexual. If you've never heard this before and you're shocked and incredulous that the PLO chief was cozy with this Muslim taboo... I must wonder - why? Arafat is often described by those familiar with his behavior as a "pathological liar" with an "extraordinary talent for deceiving.
Arafat wasn't "Palestinian" - he was Egyptian. He was only a soldier briefly - but he wore his khaki military costume daily. His headquarters appeared frugal to trick visitors - he had hundreds of millions, maybe billions of embezzled dollars stashed away in foreign bank accounts. He probably wasn't Muslim - KGB cohorts describe him as a "devoted Marxist-Leninist" who utilized religious rituals for "political theater." One example of staged deception was his feigned, televised donation of blood to 9/11 victims - French 2 journalist Charles Enderlin later revealed that no needle was even inserted into Arafat's arm.
Arafat was gay, but he couldn't publicize this to his homophobic, Islamist followers. In 1990, when he was 61 years old, Arafat married the 27-year-old Suha Daoud Tawil, but they seldom lived together - she resided in Paris during the last 4 years of his life. Suha - say many observers - was only Arafat's "beard" - (think Arianna and Michael Huffington) - even their daughter was rumored to be the product of artificial insemination.
Where's the evidence, you ask? Here are three chunks of provocative data, followed by additional tidbits of disturbing rumor:

Bawdy In Bucharest - In the 1987 book "Red Horizon" written by Ion Mihai Pacepa - head of Romanian Intelligence under Nicolae Ceausescu - the author claims that Arafat's bedroom was "bugged" when he visited Bucharest (Arafat was trained by the KGB in the 70's and 80's). Loud sex between Arafat and his blonde Aryan bodyguards was recorded via a microphone monitoring system. The primary eavesdropper - Constantin Munteaunu, a general assigned to the PLO - reported that dominant Arafat "roared like a tiger" while his submissive bodyguards "yelped like hyenas." Munteaunu also compiled an intelligence report stating that Arafat's first homosexual relationship occurred with a teacher, when he was a teenager.

High on the Thigh - In 2000, Yasser Arafat repeatedly rubbed Terry McAuliffe's leg under the table at a Washington dinner party, before kissing him on the lips. McAuliffe, the former Democratic National Committee chairman, reports this in his book, "What A Party! My Life Among Democrats: Presidents, Candidates, Donors, Activists, Alligators and Other Wild Animals."

Queer Death Circumstances - Arafat died in France on November 11, 2007, at the age of 75. There was considerable secrecy about the cause of his demise, but his symptoms included the blotchy skin of Kaposi's sarcoma, severe weight loss, dementia, and a collapse of the immune system - all telltale signs of the AIDS virus. PLO senior advisor Bassam Abu Sharif claimed his ex-boss was poisoned by Mossad with a lethal dose of thallium, but Nabil Shaath, Palestinian Foreign Minister, admitted to Arab News that Arafat's blood was meticulously analyzed by German and French laboratories and no trace of poison was found. USA intelligence analyst John Lottus told ABC news that the CIA was aware, for years, that Arafat had AIDS.

A variety of sources also suggest that Arafat had pedophiliac tendencies - an urge that some say found release in Romania where he was given the services of underage, orphan boys. Another rumor says Arafat's personal driver - a Mossad double agent - located teenage boys to deliver to the PLO leader.

Palestinian supporters who admire Arafat can insist, if they wish, that his bedroom antics were irrelevant. They might claim that his sexuality does not diminish his "noble" work to create Palestinian statehood. Unfortunately (for them) Arafat's closeted gayness highlights his astounding hypocrisy. As Arafat was salaciously enjoying his bodyguards, gays were being horrendously persecuted in the repressive homophobic Islamic region he promoted, with special police squads employed to capture and sadistically torture gay men.

Today, more than six years after Arafat's death, gays are still fleeing the "Palestine" conceived by the fraud who cared more about attaining personal power, than achieving dignity for humans who shared his same-sex orientation.

Who was Arafat anyway? Forensic psychiatrist Michael Welner defines him as the "most successful psychopath terrorist leader in history." If that description is accurate, it will be difficult for biographers to unravel the complex, duplicitous motivations of the man. Psychopaths are often charismatic with the appearance of normal emotions, but in actuality, they are anti-social, immoral creatures devoid of shame or guilt, operating as "intraspecies predators." All too frequently, their neurological maliciousness finds a focus in Anti-Semitism.
